2nd International Conference on Food Bioactives & Health

The FBHC 2018 will take place in the amazing city of Lisbon, from the 26th to the 28th of September, at the Rectory of NOVA University, the largest and most prestigious university in Portugal. The topics addressed by FBHC2018 will cover the whole palette of interests of the community including the impact of polyphenols, carotenoids, glucosinolates, marine compounds, polysaccharides, peptides and proteins as food bioactives for health. The Conference will strive to afford a delightful forum for the attendees to improve their scientific knowledge and explore the latest trends in the field.

Workshop on Sustainable Production of Carotenoids, 4th MC & 3rd WG meetings

Workshop ˝Sustainable Carotenoid Production˝ together with 4th Management Committee and 3rd Working Group meetings were held on 16 - 17 October in Trogir, Croatia. In total 86 researchers and early career investigators (ECIs) from 32 countries participated in Workshop and meetings.

The Scientific and Organizing Committee would like to remind you that the 3rd Scientific Workshop of the POSITIVe COST Action will be held in Thessaloniki (Greece) from the 20th to 21st of September 2017.


EUROCAROTEN Workshop on Sustainable Production of Carotenoids - From Biosynthesis to Biotechnology

The Workshop, organized by WG1, will take place the days 16 and 17 of October 2017 in conjunction with the annual management committee and working group meetings (to be held on 17-18 October 2017) of the EU COST Action CA15136 – EUROCAROTEN. It will address recent developments in the fields of carotenoid biosynthesis, carotenoid biotechnology, carotenoid extraction and bioprocessing.

Conference on Non-Timber Forest Products and Bioeconomy

We warmly welcome participation of all interested experts operating in the field of Non-Timber Forest Products.

The first two days of the conference will consist of presentations by invited keynote speakers and selected specialists.

The third day is reserved for keynote speakers, remarks and comments by company participants, and concluding remarks.

Early bird registration dead line is 15 September 2017 and the deadline for abstract submission is 7 August 2017 with speakers and presenters being informed of acceptance by September 1, 2017.


EUROCAROTEN 3rd MC & 2nd WG Meeting

COST Action CA15136 ‐ European network to advance carotenoid research and applications in agro‐food and health ‐ EUROCAROTEN


On 13-14 February 2017, 44 participants from 25 countries met in Skopje, Macedonia, for the 3rd MC and 2nd WG meeting within the European CAROTENOID Cost Action network.


EUROCAROTEN Kick-off Meeting

The EUROCAROTEN kick-off meeting was held in Brussels (18th April 2016) with the participation of scientists from 28 countries.
