The scientific programme of EUROCAROTEN is developed by four inter-related Working Groups that carry out the tasks needed to fulfil the scientific objectives. They coordinate and produce research in the context of the Action. Such WGs are:
WG1: Production: developing resources and biosynthetic pathways
WG2: Quality along the food chain
WG3: Nutrition and health
WG4: Transfer, dissemination and exploitation
As major deliverables the WGs will produce scientific papers and communications to international research meetings, scientific databases, Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and newsletters, among others.
