I am Associate Professor in the Department of “Food Technologies” in the Food Research and Development Institute, Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
I am PhD of Food Technologies, specialty "Technology preservation of fruits and vegetables" with PhD Thesis “Research and development of technology and component content of the product of Melons” (2012); Graduated master degree Engineer-technologist. of Food Technologies, specialty "Technology preservation of fruits and vegetables" and "Refrigeration technology”, at the University of Food Technologies (UFT) - Bulgaria in 1997.
I have experiance and interes formulation and dizain of canned products - juice and beverages from traditional and non traditional fruits and vegetavble with high content of biological activiti components.
I detect antioksidant activity and total polifenols, color of different fruits and vegetables and producys of them, including in this biological activi are total carotenoids and beta carotenoids.
At the result of my work in the Accredited Laboratory i have participated as a member of project teams with more than 30 enterprises and science organizationsq and 60 publications.
I am provided my professionalism and competence in the field of processing of fruits and vegetables - sterilized, chilled, frozen, spices and beverages; food microbiology; Bulgarian and European legislation relating to the safety of food and water; and the application of quality systems related to Accredited Laboratories – BDS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2006.
